How we handle your personal data on blacktidestudio.io.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

In short

We only collect the data strictly needed to reply to your message. No resale, no spam, no advertising cookies. You can request the deletion of your data at any time.

Data collected

When you contact us through the form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. For audience measurement, we collect only non-identifying technical and navigation events: page viewed, language, visit source, UTM parameters, and general browser and device characteristics.

Purpose

This data is used exclusively to reply to your request and follow up on the conversation you start with the studio. It is never used for automated prospecting.

Retention period

Your data is kept for a maximum of 36 months from the last contact. After that, it is permanently deleted. You can request early deletion at any time.

Third-party sharing

Your data is never sold. It is only processed by the providers required to operate the service: Resend (email delivery), Google Workspace (email reception), PostHog Cloud EU or Umami used exclusively in its place (audience measurement), and Calendly when you choose to book a meeting. No other sharing takes place.

Cookies & analytics

The site uses PostHog Cloud EU or, exclusively in its place, Umami to produce statistics from non-identifying navigation events. The configuration uses no cookies, autocapture, persistent profiles, or session recording. With PostHog, the IP address and user agent are briefly used server-side to calculate a daily hashed identifier specific to the hostname; the IP address is then removed from the event. Advertising click identifiers are excluded, and no name, email address, or free-text field content is transmitted. Audience measurement data is retained for no more than 12 months.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected] with your request. Reply within 30 days maximum.

Complaints

In case of disagreement, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, cnil.fr).
